Jéssica Lopes Barbosa joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2026, where she works primarily in the Civil area.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Minho (2023) and a master's degree in Contract and Business Law from the same institution (2025), with her dissertation entitled “Digital Banking Law: home banking, the wallet, and the alleged negligence of the client in the face of the bank's (ir)responsibilization.”
During her academic career, she participated in complementary training courses in different areas of law such as the “Automação e Advogados do futuro” and “Direitos das Vítimas de Crime” promoted by AEDUM.
She took part as a guest speaker in a lecture on Banking Civil Liability held at the Lusophone University of Porto.
She also is the author of the work “Digital Banking Law: Bank (Ir)responsibility vs Client Negligence,” with publication scheduled for June 2026.
Previously, she completed two extracurricular internships at different law firms.
