Maria do Carmo Ferreira joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2026, where she works primarily in Employment Law.
She holds a Law degree from the Portucalense University and is currently attending a Master's degree in Children's, Family and Succession Law at the University of Minho. She also completed a Postgraduate Course in Labour Law at the Institute for Business and Labour Law (IDET) of the University of Coimbra.
Throughout her academic career, she participated in a range of complementary training programmes across different areas of law, including Legal Research (Legal Research Workshop, ELSA Portucalense), European Union Competition Law in Practice (lecturer Sónia Carvalho, UPT), Law in Business (CNED), the seminar The Practice of Law: Current Challenges, and anti-money laundering training organised by the Portuguese Bar Association. She also attended thematic sessions led by legal professionals such as Jorge Morais de Carvalho, Nuno Cerejeira Namora and Luís Pais Antunes.
She completed her professional traineeship in a sole practitioner law office in Paredes, where she gained experience in various areas of law, and also undertook a winter internship at a law firm.
Alongside her legal career, she has been actively involved in voluntary work, particularly with the Food Bank.
